7 assembly seats of Navsari loksabha are Limbayat, Choryasi, Majura, Udhana, Navsari, Jalalpore and Gandevi. The Navsari Lok Sabha seat includes Surat Municipal Corporation’s ward numbers 9, 10, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, Navsari- Vijalpore Nagarpalika, Gandevi Nagarpalika, Bilimora Nagarpalika, Choryasi Taluka of Surat District and Navsari, Gandevi, Jalalpore, Chikhli, Khergam Taluka’s are included in Navsari Loksabha Constituency. The straight line covers an area of about 30 km from Surat city to Chikhli.
C R Patil has been fortunate to become the first Member of Parliament from the existing seat in 2009. For the first time, he won by a margin of 1,32,643 votes and in 2014 by a margin of 5,56,451 votes and in 2019 he won by record break highest winner through India, A margin of 6,89,668 votes.
